Observation notes: Nectaring on a late-blooming Chamisa shrub. Nine butterfly species were observed on the same shrub: Orange Sulphur, Checkered White, Common Checkered Skipper, Western Pygmy Blue, Buckeye, Painted Lady, Green Skipper, Fiery Skipper, Dainty Sulphur, and Variegated Fritillary, as well as a moth, many flies, numerous honey bees, and one or more wasps.
