Observation notes: - big orange butterfly with white spots on the corner wings and black border
- There were about four of the same butterfly species
- Were communicated with one another flying together
- they flew around above the creek with a bunch of trees surrounding
- had landed on a branch a few feet above the water
- was calm resting on the branch while the other butterflies kept flying around
- the weather was cold under the shade from the trees
