Coordinator notes: Bonnie, I have to approve this Northern Cloudywing because BAMONA has not yet revised their cloudywing taxonomy to accommodate the latest research. when it does, I think what you saw will be Rocky Mountains Cloudywing (Cecropterus rockiensis). and questions remain about this group in southern NM overall. but for now, call it northern cloudywing.
