Observation notes: On Buckwheat for nectar and another was going to sweet clover along river valley displaying male territorial behavior. Sunny day with Brett at Santa Margarita River. Following along to observe Brett's Early date records, this may well be an early date record? Plenty of water in river but still able to cross in crossing area's wading in about 6-8 inches of water. Was a very nice day low sixties calm sunny.
