Observation notes: Several sightings of this flyer in flight, with its distinctive blue flash. The difficulty was in getting good shots, but my patience was rewarded. Most sightings were along the riparian section of Outfall Rd (graded dirt) to the west of the Elfin Forest facilities. Weather was partly cloudy with good periods of sun. Mild breeze, mid 60's.
