Observation notes: Several individuals were in the native plant garden at the entrance to the William B. Pond Recreation Area. The caterpillar host plant (Aristolochia californica) was planted along fence posts and on the ground in the native garden. Adults were observed feeding on the flowers of heatwave salvia and wild radish.
