Observation notes: Found the moth in a parking lot that has bright lights at night. Caught it in a container (ventral photo), brought it home, and released it. Good news - it flew away! I have seen these moths a number of times around my yard, but this is the first time I was able to take a photo of one. (I took the ventral photo in the container I used to catch it.) What a pleasant change from searching for hours (sometimes days!) to ID a micro-moth!
