Observation notes: Roosting on plant for the night got it to walk to my finger to take photo's in the sun, pacific crest trail out of Kennedy meadows along the Kern river. One of your spots. Saw many though this one was worn some were new. warm days and cool nights. Clear sky's dry with good nectar. Still very green and lush in most area's.
