Observation notes: Observed large caterpillar moving at a brisk pace through the mulched area of the yard in the sun, then turned up on the shaded and tiled entryway, crawled behind a flower pot, and stopped moving. It was about 86 degrees at this time. The yard contains coontie, croton, and oak.
