Observation notes: Wow! I found 7 Harvester butterflies in a very short distance ! 5 of them were together on scat. They were there with a Green Comma, and 3 Meadow Fritillaries That's a population RECORD for me. The most I have every seen at one time is 3. Was able to get this photo of four of them. Then today, June 3 still seeing 2 of them at this same site one flew up on a leaf.. I was surprised to see it open its wings. Harvesters are so small, far and few between, Have to concentrate looking for them.
