Observation notes: I'm re-submitting with additional photos. Maybe they're too off to make a final id, but it looks more like helloides to me. The spots on the upperside look smaller and more defined. Also, it appeared to be patrolling for females along the road, and it doesn't look like a male gorgon, so could it be a male helloides?
