Coordinator notes: Your suggested ID is correct...a female Boisduval's Blue. This blue should actually be known as the Lupine Blue because the only host it feeds on as immatures are Lupines...The "Lupine Blue" (P. lupini) is a misnomer. It only feeds on buckwheats (Eriogonum). The scientific name P. lupini we just have to live with but really needs to be emended to "alupini." Mike
