Date notes: A cool 12 % C. earlier in the morning after being wet and cool the day before, but now, even while sunny, the temperature was only 16 C., with a NE breeze blowing.

Observation notes: It was sunny yet cool, with a breeze blowing, and the butterfly was feeding on the nectar of Damsel's Rocket (Hesperis matronalis), in our garden. I saw 3 or 4 in the last few days flying around the area, but today was the first I saw it stopped long enough to feed (and to get a shot!)
