Coordinator notes: This is actually the Forest Copper...Lycaena florus and related to the Dorcas Copper (though each are distinct species). I think I have explained this situation before (florus at higher altitude, moister (forest) habitat and use a different than does the Purplish or Dorcas)?
Dorcas does not occur in Colorado and occurs only in bogs and fens at higher northern latitude. Mike
