Observation notes: Skipper apparently ovipositing on dead leaves and stems of an annual Borage, along the edge of a temporary pond near the Dripping Springs Visitor Center, Organ Mountains. The soil under the standing litter had been saturated during a minor ponding event on 06/21/24 and remained moist on this day. The morning was sunny, with light wind, and humid.
