Observation notes: Mostly sunny, breezy, temps in the high 60's. I saw this butterfly on Antennaria parvifolia (Pussytoes) in an area where Cercocarpus montanus (Mountain Mahogany) and Arctostaphyslos uva-ursi (Kinnikinnick) were growing.

Coordinator notes: Brown Elfin has no green on the underside...I am sure you have seen/report the Juniper Hairstreak before...maybe you just confused it with the other name? Mike
