Observation notes: The weather was warm, quite windy, and clear. All the butterflies present were clinging to the plants or sticks each landed on. The little blues were nectaring on Sulphur Buckwheat. The host plant, Spurry Buckwheat was also present. This was an area logged fairly recently, which allows for the growth of the host and nectar plants.
