Coordinator notes: Fresh individual in early July. Although a ventral view would be helpful for more certainty, the wide dark band along the HW anal margin has P. canadensis characteristics. It usually is much narrower in P. glaucus. This is likely an example of the proposed “Midsummer Tiger,” which has mixed traits of each species and flies after the P. canadensis flight has ended (late June in your region). Without an official confirmed status, it is still listed as canadensis x glaucus, even though it isn’t a true hybrid. -jmgesell
