Observation notes: Beautiful sunny day, mid 70's. This butterfly spent about two hours hanging out with me in the garden in my backyard. It was enjoying the scabiosa flowers, all over them! I Live on a ridge above Fall Creek Woods Natural Area. My yard is planted with many native plants (though not strictly natives).
