Observation notes: Found the most beautiful moth today. It was on the granite by the house near a tomato plant. We watched it all day, it seemed to be moving between a large crack in the granite, under the step. It was almost 90 degrees and in the full sun so we thought it was cooler for it under the stair. My google lens suggested it was an ornate tiger moth but they seem to be on the west coast and we are in Warner, New Hampshire, the east coast.
