Observation notes: Sipping from muddy flat below/near a small, roadside waterfall. The only one I saw on this day. Road cut through basalt cliff covered with moss. Many seeps along cliff. This spot is sunny in the morning, shaded in the afternoon. Oxeye Daisy, candy flower in bloom.
fireweed and some thistle getting ready to bloom. Ferns. Mixed wood of deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs.
