Observation notes: Mating moths were attached to the bed of my son’s truck at 9:00 am; they were still attached at 5:00 pm. This occurred in Suffolk, Virginia at our home. When my son drove to Chesapeake, Virginia destination arrival the male moth was gone, and the female was on the floor of truck bed. I took photos of the mating pair. When my son reached his Chesapeake location, he photographed the female.
