Observation notes: Sunny, little breeze, temp in low 70s F. I have only seen one of these back in 2019. Now, I've seen 2 in consecutive days, 14.5 miles apart and this one almost 1600 ft higher in elevation. Maybe a bumper year for this little jewel? One seen nectaring on fleabane at ~8,990 ft. This one is darker than the one spotted yesterday near La Cueva.
