Observation notes: Pervasive through the preserve. Hundreds of individuals seen, hiding in the grasses, nectaring on Alkali Heliotrope or Doveweed, or even Buckwheat. A weak flyer, but somewhat skittish. Weather warm, clear and slightly breezy.
