Observation notes: Near McGill Camp Trail on North face of Mt Pinos. On Sulphur Buckwheat. Large patches of these on the slope. Partly cloudy day in the 70’s F. 7000+ feet elevation. No more Sulphur Buckwheat associated Blues in the area but quite a few of these Metalmarks up and down the Sulphur Buckwheat patches.

Coordinator notes: Subspecies cythera vs. arenaria?......questions over applying arenaria to these since arenaria is a coastal virgulti subspecies but genomically has been applied by Grishin applied to the Coast Range langei-arenaria.-Ken Davenport
