Observation notes: Breezy, Sunny, 64 degrees in Cannon Beach at the Waves Motel on their office building. Below the moth there were Salvia Roman red plants, red dahlias, and Monks Cress, above to the right of it was a large hanging plant with Cranesbill geraniums. It was very calm and did not mind me being close and its little antennas were moving quite a bit. It did flutter/open the wings a bit and I was able to see the bluish hue of the body.
