Observation notes: Finally found one in Taos County! Walked a mile through great Gamble Oak habitat in Jaroso Canyon from 8:30 to 9:30am - no luck. On the return trip, I used my walking stick to thrash the tops of 8-10ft tall Gamble Oak and managed to flush a couple.
