Observation notes: Found two black swallowtail caterpillars on our dill plant. As there were spiders on them we brought the caterpillars inside and as we were out of dill plants tried giving them parsley. One of the caterpillars was ok with parsley but the younger one only wanted dill.

Coordinator notes: Good idea to feed parsley; I raise them every year, mostly on parsley which I grow in pots, then bring inside a butterfly cage. But they like the dill in my garden, too.
