Celery Looper Moth
Anagrapha falcifera

Observation date: August 07, 2024
Submitted by: LadyDragon
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: This moth was found on the front door of my apartment complex. There’s a light above the door at night & lots of different bugs congregate there each night. Might have decided right there was a good spot to nap or do whatever moths do, but I can confirm that’s a terrible spot to relax. I gave it a poke on a leg, it didn’t do anything. I gave it another poke to sort of “slide” the moth off the door handle, & it took off a few feet away to land on the building. Cool guy 10/10
