Observation notes: This very large butterfly reflected pure white in the field when rapidly flying and briefly puddling, but on processing showed some yellow color of legs, eyes, and abdomen plus Sulphur Butterfly markings. It is easily 2x to 3x larger than any other white butterfly I've observed locally. The site is a drying stormwater retention pond located at the Dripping Springs Visitor Center; Organ Mountains - Desert Peaks National Monument. The midday was hot, windy, and under full sun.
