Observation notes: Last instar caterpillar on ground within 6 feet of common sunflower. About 4 inches long.

Coordinator notes: Definitely looks to be the larva of the species. Being one of the food plants being Bignonia, that vine is abundant and invasive here in Kansas so moth would be well stocked. This is likely a KANSAS STATE RECORD. Thanks, JAMES STEEN
