Christina Sulphur
Colias christina

Observation date: July 29, 2024
Submitted by: Robert Gorman
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Sorry for blurry shot and eye strain trying to look at it was hard to get dorsal side without a net. Thanks for the help these are tough for us. Much warmer than we expected after getting used to high country. Sunny lots flying once it warmed up and seemed to be humid after recent rain. Puddles in parking area at red lodge ski resort. we hiked up the slope quite a bit. these were in a big meadow and seemed to like it near the wind break just below the ridge line. Seemed completely white when flying but upon lading the pink edge and some yellow was easy to see. Seemed like different sized sulphur's and color's these seemed quite large compared to some of the others?
