Observation notes: Funny story…I saw a Leafroller moth on the wall under the patio lights. Knowing it is nearly impossible to get the diagnostic ventral view, I was trying to angle the camera downwards from the head since it was leaning a bit off the wall. The flash scared it away, but it conveniently landed on my family room window. So I simply stepped inside and easily got the necessary ventral view…
