Observation notes: We observed commas for 4 days in the Aspens on Hwy 67 near Deckers, CO. This was by far the darkest of the ones we photographed. It has been reported on iNaturalist at this location by both Christian Nunes of CO and Andrew Warren of the McGuire Center in FL. Andrew Warren has ID it on iNaturalist as Polygonia oreas nigrozephyrus. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/235429911.
