Observation notes: Checking out a new set of trails at Briones Regional Park. Spotted these two individuals at the edge of a grassy meadow bordering a small riparian area. The first was engrossed in thistle flowers. The second flew by so fast I almost missed it, and it appeared almost colorless until I examined the photos later. Weather: low 70s, clear and calm.
