Observation notes: ID based on Plate 12 from Iftner, Shuey, and Calhoun--Butterflies and Skippers of Ohio. Ohio Bio. Surv. Bull, 1992. Compared carefully with P. hobomok, which was also eliminated because its flight season is virtually over before Jul-Aug.
