Observation notes: I only saw one of these near Fruitgrower's Reservoir in Eckert CO. The reservoir is very low and much of what was under water now has plant life growing. A.I. on iNaturalist suggested Mylitta as its first choice but it didn't look dark enough.

Coordinator notes: This a very brightly colored female Field Crescent...the forewing shape does not have the apical character mylitta has (you can probably see this by viewing some on the BAMONA website). Its a bit angular at the tip. Mike
