Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I thought it might be something else, but the three-quarter view (well, what I call a three-quarter view) has an inner wing mark characteristic of a Zabulon. The skipper stayed awhile and occasionally zoomed around at the 6-foot level in my backyard. The second photo is rather plain (perhaps an older Zabulon?). The third photo may be neither here nor there but I'm amazed how long a skipper's proboscis can be.
