Observation notes: Very small, 1/2 inch in length. Photographed on the east bank of the Metolius River in central Oregon, elevation about 3600 feet, nectaring on various wildflowers but mainly cow parsnip. 75 degrees, clear, bright day. Sorry no dorsal view.
