Observation notes: A single individual on a patch of wet ground bordered by tall, broad-leaved grasses with the Gila River close by. The surrounding forest was tall, appeared mostly undisturbed by the all too frequent flash floods, and was dominated by cypress, sycamore, and hackberry.
