Observation notes: Orange Sulphur ovipositing on the underside of terminal leaves of Alkali Swainson-pea plants (Fabaceae) which grow at the upper edge of saturated pond banks (with Alkali Sacaton bunchgrass) within the project area. The site is La Mancha Restoration Wetland Project now managed by Tierra Nuestra at the base of the west levee of the Rio Grande. The morning was hot, windy, and under full sun.
