Observation notes: I have a host pipeline along the fence of my backyard and spotted these 2 butterflies entangled, presumably mating, on a Brazilian Pepper tree in my front yard in between just after a thunderstorm I watched them for about 5 minutes then carefully got close enough to snap a picture without disturbing them. They remain entangled end to end at this time over 20 min after my first sighting.
