Observation notes: See these from time to time and noticed there hasn't been a recent reporting for our county. We also have three nice Hackberry trees for them to use as larval host.

Coordinator notes: Thanks for the reports Char...have you had any new individuals you suspect were from your yard? I only have one individual I consider to be newly emerged from Colorado that I found in Elbert County 30 years ago. Just wondering if you have seen them in numbers in your yard any earlier in the year? This one looks like a female but I do not think the Snout can survive our winter in any life-stage and any that are found "new" would be from an early arriving female in late May-June or maybe as late as July.
