Observation date: September 16, 2024

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: In this photo the thorax is clearly a teal color. In other photos with the wings open, the photos don't capture the teal. I was wondering if the teal makes it a Northern Crescent or do all crescents have a teal thorax when the sun hits them a particular way?

Coordinator notes: The teal coloration is not a critical character in separating these species. However, it does appear to have orange-tipped antennae, which is more closely associated with the Northern, especially in males like this individual.
