Observation notes: Individual briefly landed near a livestock watering pond to avoid wind gusts and warm in the sun; the adjacent emerging plant is Portulaca oleracea. The site is near the NM/AZ border, north of I-10 at the Steins Exit, and on USBLM-managed land, east of the county road, likely on Rustler Draw. The mid-day was hot, windy, and under full sun.
