Observation notes: by saddle bag lake at your spot, I think that we told you that we found edith on a hilltop. I think you said it was probably this species. Up with the skippers arctic and others oh yes there were rockslide right near the top also. sunny hot clear with strong wind.

Coordinator notes: The problem with this locality only Euphydryas editha nubigena is known, there are no verified records for Euphydryas anicia or chalcedon, though your photo tells me that it is possible what you had there. We would need an actual specimens to sequence this to confirm another ID.---Ken Davenport
