Observation notes: Ditch between gravel road and cliff. A small section of this ditch had damp soil or a small amount of standing water. Lots of butterflies, 1 moth and other insects were here. JWR: Here's why I've been submitting butterflies as moths. I was in southern AZ for the month of October. I submitted 150 to 200 butterfly photos to BAMONA. John Saba identified some sightings from October 3 but I haven't heard anything more in over a month. I hope he's well. I figured if I changed the category from butterfly to moth they would probably get to you. Let me know if this is not acceptable.

Coordinator notes: No, it's no problem at all. I do the AZ moths (many of which are quite obscure) and am happy to see some interesting butterflies. I'm not sure what's happening with John Saba, however. Keep 'em coming; I'm finding them to be great fun. JRains
