Observation notes: Dozens of these Crescents were feeding at dandelions near the parking lot at Hagelstein Park. Upon landing at a flower head, each butterfly constantly fanned its wings, and amazingly spent considerable time there, while turning either clockwise & counterclockwise, as it probed the blossom. Weather was warm & sunny. Note that the antennal tips are orange.
