Observation date: July 26, 2010
Submitted by: Moth-er Jean
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Found on Willow Oak.

Verified by: jasondroberts
Verified date: January 30, 2011
Coordinator notes: Catocala subnata is a very similar species, usually distinguished by the lack of the dark basal dash (however, it can be present in subnata females), but is best distinguished by examination of hind tibia. That said, this specimen appears to be a neogama.
