Observation notes: Found on Black Hawthorn (Crataegus douglasii) blossoms, about 8 feet high. Worked a cluster of flowers very slowly. Flicked wings to scare away a bald hornet. Weather warm and sunny. (Not great photos-auto focus not working correctly.)
